PARENT PAYMENTS 2022
Seabrook Primary School is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you of Seabrook Primary School’s voluntary financial contributions for 2022.
Victorian government schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian Curriculum and we want to assure you that contributions are voluntary. Nevertheless, the ongoing support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students. We want to thank you for all your support, whether that’s through fundraising, voluntary financial contributions, or volunteering your time. This has made a huge difference to our school and the many programs we can offer.
Within our school, this financial support has allowed us to provide the highest quality school resources, online subscriptions to support the learning program, hands-on learning and play equipment, and ICT services and infrastructure. While parents continue supporting the school, Seabrook Primary School is able to offer enhanced digital learning equipment and programs, and the highest quality of well-resourced programs and experiences to support the teaching and learning program. If you are in genuine financial hardship, payment plans will be an available option.
Due to the extraordinary two years we have had with the impact of the pandemic on families, our School Council will not be increasing the recommended financial contribution amount in 2022.
At the start of 2022, families will be provided with login details for Compass. Parents will be able to make payments using this portal early in 2022. There will be an action centre showing the following amounts per student:
Curriculum Contributions $325
*NOTE - For Grade 3-6 students providing their own BYOM MacBook, it is recommended that $100 is deducted from this amount each year. Parents will be able to alter the amount accordingly.
Other Contributions (Grounds maintenance and improvements) $40
*Recommended for one child per family only.
