Dear Parents and Carers,
This has been a trying time for us all as we adjust to a new way of operating in all aspects of our lives and from the school hope that everyone is fit and well.
This morning the minister made an address relating to schools for term 2. The message is clear that in order to increase physical distancing across the population and slow the spread of COVID-19 children in Victorian government schools should move to remote and flexible learning and care at the commencement of term 2. This means that from Wednesday 15th April all students who can learn from home must learn at home. The school has already made some provision for this and more details will be posted before Wednesday. The school will only be open for children who are not able to be supervised at home and no other arrangement can be made. These children will be supervised any by available teaching staff (not necessarily their own teacher) and will be undertaking remote learning tasks set by their class teacher.
More information will be sent via Xuno and posted on our website and Facebook as soon as it is possible in order to keep parents informed. Thank you for your support.
